We're moved in!

Russ, Maddy and I got moved in to our new house over the weekend. We finally closed on the sale of our old house and the new house today, so we can now relax and get settled in. There are other children within our little cul-de-sac and the few neighbors we've met so far are just wonderful. I'll try and take some pictures of the house this week so that we can share them with you all.
Russ's commute to work has been cut in half which has really made a difference just in the one work day we've been here. I go back to work on Monday and will have to leave Maddy with a babysitter for a while. She will officially start at daycare in September, so she's slowly entering a more social environment.
Maddy has her 2 month appointment this week so she'll have to get shots. I'll post an update about how that goes and her most recent weight :)

What's New

We have found a house that we like in Collinsville and hoping to have a contract by tomorrow. MLS# is 819037 for those that are curious about what it looks like. Kathy went house hunting with Maddy and I on Thursday and it got her seal of approval, along with Lacey's parents over the weekend.
We spent the weekend in Muskogee for the 4th of July. Maddy didn't get to see any fireworks but she will get to next year. We did get some wonderful homemade ice cream and spent time with family and friends. We got to see Scott and Brittany, and her awesome new car too. Also, here are some new pictures of Maddy.

Our house was put on the market last week officially. The sign went in the yard on Wednesday and we've now signed a contract with a buyer as of Monday. Having a contract on the house so fast is great but now the pressure is on to find a new house within the next week or so. We close on our current house July 29th! Maddy and I went house hunting yesterday afternoon. Maddy basically slept through the entire afternoon, even with me getting her in and out of the car. Luckily the car seat comes out with her so she wasn't disrupted too much. Turns out we have expensive taste :)

Other than that things are going relatively well. Maddy is fighting a virus according to the doctor on Friday. She has had a cough for a few weeks that had started happening more frequently. We're supposed to keep an eye on her over the next couple of weeks to make sure there's no change in her feeding and that she doesn't have a fever. She was just shy of 10 lbs. so our little girl is growing just as she should be.
