Overall Maddy is growing more independent everyday, and she's learning so much so quickly. Sutton just started rolling over and smiles all of the time. We are still addressing his skin issues but that's gotten a ton better even since Christmas. We haven't started him on cereal yet, the spoon-fed version, but we have until he's 6 months old to start that. Hard to believe he will be 5 months old next week and yet it feels like we are still trying to figure him out. Both our kids are such blessings! Below are some pics from the holidays and I promise I will try and do better this year :)

Hello 2011....
So I'm hoping to be better about updating our family blog this year (one of many new year's resolutions). We have had a a busy, and unhealthy, last quarter so I'm desperately hoping that 2011 treats us a little better. Working backwards, New Year's Eve consisted of a night at home with Russ eating pizza, drinking wine, and watching OSU lose their basketball game. Christmas was a whirlwind this year. We drove to Duncan to hang out with Russ's family through Christmas Eve, came home for Christmas, and then went to Muskogee for an overnight trip. Maddy loved opening presents, which she got a lot of, and Sutton just kind of watched from the sidelines. Prior to that Sutton was diagnosed was RSV, and a subsequent ear infection, so December has been rough on him from diagnosis to still trying to fight it off. We've also since met with the doctor about him having a milk allergy so he's been put on a soy formula. Maddy had an ear infection and pink eye after Christmas as a side note. We spent Thanksgiving in Muskogee with my family where my Mom's family was able to meet Sutton for the first time. We spent our anniversary before Thanksgiving redoing our bedroom (paint, rearranging furniture, new TV, etc) and the kids spent their first overnighter (Sutton specifically) with my parents. Sutton kept my Mom up all night and was extremely fussy. Turns out he was coming down with his first ear infection but I'm pretty sure they won't be volunteering to watch him again for a while.
