We've been staying very busy here lately so I have been a little behind on updating the blog. Last weekend Maddy's great-grandpa Boppa passed away. He was such a kind and wonderful man and we're so happy that Maddy was able to spend time with him. Since then we have been attempting to paint our house. It seems like an endless affair since we can't seem to make up our mind on the color and we're taking on 3 spaces at once.
Maddy is continuing to develop her walking skills. She's actually watching where she is going now. She continues to love our cellphones. She pretends to talk to someone everytime she gets ahold of one, but for some reason barely talks when someone is actually talking to her through the phone. She went back for her regular check up on Friday and everything looks good. She now weighs 22 lbs 8 oz (50th percentile) and is 32 1/2 inches (over 95th percentile) tall. She loves her big chair that we got her for her birthday and reading books. She also just got moved to a new class at daycare. She's adapted really well so far and it's easier for me since I don't have to bring as much stuff with her each morning. She's growing up so fast.
JBF was this weekend which means that Maddy got a lot of new clothes yesterday. JBF is a huge consigment sale where there are tons of clothes, toys, furniture, etc. and thanks to it I shouldn't have to buy Maddy clothes for the rest of the year.
