Let the Christmas shopping continue! We had started some of our shopping but are hoping to get more done this weekend. Maddy is going to stay with her Grandma and Papa one night this weekend so that Russ and I can focus on getting things done, including painting her room. Now that Maddy has adjusted to being in her new room we can start to add the finishing touches. The poor girl has so much stuff, with more to come over the holidays, that it's hard to find a place for it all. We did manage to get the tree up and other indoor decorations the weekend before Thanksgiving, and Russ has since hung up our outdoor lights. Unfortunately something has happened and the only lights now working our around our lamp pole. Maddy had her 18 month checkup last week. She's 24 lbs 2 oz and 34 inches tall. She did get her flu shots this year, and one swine flu shot. We still need to get the second dose. So far we've managed to stay healthy this winter (looking for a large piece of wood to knock on). I do not know how that sweet little girl can get any cuter! Her daddy's going to have to have a big ol' bat and maybe a shotgun or 2 to scare the boys off someday.
