Russ has been doing a wonderful job taking care of Maddy and I while my energy has been low. He sent me flowers for V-day yesterday that were absolutely beautiful. I'm still fighting the nausea but the energy is starting to come back. We haven't done much to prepare for baby #2 yet around the house but we'll get there eventually.
Maddy was diagnosed this week with another ear infection and an upper respiratory virus. She's had trouble sleeping but otherwise has been in good spirits. Other than the brief stomach bug she had late last year we've had a pretty healthy winter (knock on wood). Still no talk of tubes since the antibiotics continue to work.
We have been working on our potty training over the last month or so. Maddy hasn't seemed to interested since being sick, but prior to that was doing very well. She has been using the potty at school and home semi-regularly. We're very excited and she seems to be too.
Maddy also got to spend some time with her Gigi and Grandpa (Dampa) while Russ and I attended a wedding last weekend. I had to warn the doctor about how much we (I) danced in case there was something wrong with the baby yesterday. We did get to talk to Maddy while we were gone. She had so much fun playing her grandparents and watching Barney with them (sorry it was the same video over and over :). Dampa tried to switch it out to a different one but that didn't go very well. Thank you again for spending the weekend with her!
